In Canada, there is one true indicator that Christmas is coming, and no it's not the snow. While the wintery weather that inevitably comes outside is impossible to ignore, the other big sign that the festive season is underway is when major coffee chains release their holiday menus. While Starbucks and McDonalds have both already put out their special festive selections, Tim Hortons holiday menu for 2019 was just released in Canada. 

On November 13, two days after Remembrance Day, which many Canadians believe is a more acceptable time to start prepping for the holidays, Tim Hortons unveiled their holiday menu for 2019. 

In a press release, Mike Hancock, Chief Operating Officer, said: "We're excited to help Canadians start celebrating the holiday season with our lineup of holiday beverages, baked goods and merchandise." 

The new festive offerings are available at participating Tim Hortons restaurants across the country. According to the release, this will "help get Canadians in the festive spirit." 

As for what those festive offerings are, Tims has announced two different kinds of peppermint hot chocolate — one regular and one white chocolate, a gingerbread latte, a gingerbread tea latte, and even a gingerbread Iced Capp, in case you weren't already cold enough. 

Their holiday menu doesn't just include beverages, though. Tim Hortons has also announced a few new baked goods joining the line-up. 

This year there will be a festive chocolate reindeer donut, with a Timbit rolled in red sprinkles to make the nose. 

There will also be a chocolate swiss roll with vanilla cream. 

Adding to their theme of gingerbread everything this Christmas, Tim Hortons will also be offering a ginger-molasses filled cookie and a gingerbread muffin.

Of course, the holiday season isn't just about what's in the cups, but also what is on them. 

This year Tim Hortons says the "hot drinks are served in holiday cups decorated with gumdrops and candy cane pinwheels to bring cheer to even the scroogiest scrooge or the grinchiest grinch."
