People in western countries have been taught to live in a constant state of fear since 9/11. We are encouraged to sacrifice our liberty for a false sense of security, being conditioned more and more to rely on the state for protection, and now many rely on the state to pay their bills.

Highlights

The same individuals, government agencies, and global institutions that stand to benefit the most are the ones calling the shots.

I personally think they want people to become desperate enough to accept things they would never otherwise except.
